“Never! Never again,” Emiko sighed walking away from the mall. “Never again will I trust another guy.” She said between clenched teeth.

See Emiko just saw her boyfriend kissing another girl. Now it was just so other girl it was her best friend, the one she knew since she was so little. So it was a lot to take in seeing your best friend kissing your boyfriend. She really wishes she didn’t see that. She could have gone without it.

As she was going she passed by her other best friend Jared. Though she walked right past him, he stopped her not really liking being ignored by her.

“Emiko hey wait up.” Jared said as he ran up to her. “I was just heading to the mall. Where you coming from there?” He asked trying to make conversation. She stopped and looked at him.

“Yea. Oh and don’t be shocked at what you might see in the food court.” She smiled then started walking again. Leaving Jared highly confused looking at the mall then back at Emiko.

“Hey Em what happened?” He asked stepping in step with her.

“I saw Luis kissing Cary.” Emiko said while walking. This made Jared stop fists clenched at his side. He looked back at the mall getting mad. He looked back at Emiko who was now watching him.

“I’ll be right back.” He said running off to the mall.

“Jared what are you doing?” Emiko called after him. He looked back at her and smiled.

“Nothing I’ll see you tomorrow at school alright?” He said still running. Emiko nodded then went back to going home.

The next day Emiko walked to school and when she got there she was met by her friend Jared. She gasped when she saw him.

He had stitches in his forehead, a black right eye, and a cut on his lip.

“Jared what happened.” She asked shocked running up to him.

“What this?” He asked pointing to his face. “I can openly say that the other half has it worse.” He smiled.

“You got in a fight with who? Wait how bad are they?” Emiko asked a bit surprised. Jared smirked looked behind her and pointed. She looked behind and seen Luis walking up with two black eyes, a fat lip, a cut on his right cheek, a cut over and under his left eye as well. Also his knuckles where bruised.

“You fought Luis?” She asked shocked considering Luis was the quarterback of the football team and the strongest player. “And he is worst then you?” She still asked shocked.

“Well yea I have body building as one of my classes. All we do is practically lift weights.” He smiled.

“Wow.” Emiko said then looked back at him. “Why?” She asked totally confused.

“Because e cheated on you, and that’s not all right.” He said looking at her. “You deserve better.” He stated as if it was obvious.

“Tell me when you know better.” Emiko said with a small laugh though Jared looked serious.

“I’m better.” He said still serious. Emiko looked at him and blushed. “Come on Em I know you better than your parents do. I know all your faces and everything. I know I would want you and no one else. Em please.” Jared said and Emiko looked down.

“I never knew you liked me.” She said and Jared sighed a bit not getting a answer.

“If I knew sooner I would have dated you.” She said, “I will date you.” She added looking up at him. He smiled and pulled her into a hug.

“Thank you Emiko” He said smiling. He then pulled her face up and kissed her. She blushed at that to but just kissed back. Just as Louis and Cary walked by, Cary smiled lightly and Louis had a glare on his face.
